What is Chaos Siege in Space Marine 2?
Chaos Siege is a PvE mode that puts players on the Heretic Astartes side against Tyranids and Loyalists. Cultists and a Helbrute support the Chaos forces. Patch 15 places the action on the Hive map in Avarax. It is distinct from the game’s original Siege mode and from the separate Crucible feature. Patch Notes 15.0
How do you access Chaos Siege, and what does it cost?
Focus Entertainment describes Patch 15, including Chaos Siege, as a free update available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The publisher also calls this the first time Chaos Space Marines can be played in PvE in Space Marine 2. How many Chaos Siege sectors are available?

How does Chaos Siege matchmaking work?
Patch 15’s official notes do not specify Chaos Siege’s squad size, public queue rules, crossplay behavior, or private-lobby support. Those details remain unconfirmed in the official material cited here.
Do not infer Chaos Siege matchmaking rules from Crucible. Patch 15 says Crucible uses matchmaking separate from standard PvE, but that statement applies to Crucible—not Chaos Siege. Patch Notes 15.0

The official Patch 15 material cited here does not list Chaos Siege difficulty choices or describe how difficulty affects enemy pressure, survivability, or rewards. Without confirmed options and effects, there is no reliable basis for recommending one setting over another.

Crucible XP and progression toward Lamenters armor pieces are described for Crucible, which also requires Level 25 classes; those rewards and entry rules should not be assumed to apply to Chaos Siege.
