SOUNDPEATS announced the original Air5 wireless earbuds on October 9, 2024, with a listed launch price of $89.99 and a limited-time promotional price of $53.99. The company advertised Bluetooth 5.4, multipoint connectivity, a 13 mm dynamic driver, Snapdragon Sound and Hi-Res Audio certifications, and three noise-cancellation modes. Those are manufacturer claims—not independently verified test results—and the prices are historical, not current offers.
What SOUNDPEATS announced about the original Air5
SOUNDPEATS introduced the Air5 as a semi-in-ear addition to its Air lineup. Its October 2024 launch announcement described these features:
- A 13 mm dynamic driver.
- Bluetooth 5.4 and multipoint connectivity.
- Three noise-cancellation modes, without measured performance details in the announcement.
- Snapdragon Sound and Hi-Res Audio certifications.
- Black, white, beige and purple color options.
The official product page also advertises aptX Adaptive Lossless and wireless audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz. These are SOUNDPEATS specifications, not a guarantee that every phone, audio source or listening setup supports those formats or will produce an audible improvement. A certification or codec claim by itself does not establish sound quality.

What the Air5 cost at launch
SOUNDPEATS listed the Air5 at $89.99 and announced a $53.99 promotion for October 8–20, 2024. These are historical US dollar prices from the launch announcement; they do not establish the Air5’s current price or availability.
Is the Air5 the same as the Air5 Pro or Breezy?
No. The original Air5 is a semi-in-ear model. SOUNDPEATS announced Breezy separately as open-ear earbuds. The official sources cited here do not provide a complete Air5-versus-Air5-Pro comparison, so Air5 Pro specifications should not be assumed to apply to the original Air5.

What the launch information does not establish
The available official material does not provide independent measurements of the Air5’s sound, call quality, comfort, noise cancellation, battery life or durability. It also does not establish current retail pricing or availability. Buyers comparing earbuds should check fit preference, whether their devices and audio sources support the advertised codecs, whether multipoint and noise-control features meet their needs, and the live price of the exact model.
