Saros: Zenith is a free update for everyone who owns the PS5 game Saros. How do I unlock Eclipse Layers New Game+?
Eclipse Layers becomes available after you clear Saros. Return to Passage and look for the newly appearing nodes in the Armor Matrix; those nodes unlock the next, more intense Eclipse Layer.
- Clear Saros. Finishing the game is the requirement for the new loop.
- Open Passage’s Armor Matrix. New nodes appear there after the clear.
- Select an Eclipse Layer. Each layer applies altered rules and increased intensity.
- Build a Carcosan Modifier loadout. Choose from the available Protection and Trial Modifiers.
- Meet the modifier threshold. You must reach the required balance before starting the layer.
The official post describes 25 Trials to choose from. This makes Eclipse Layers a preparation and trade-off system, not simply a version of the campaign with larger enemy health bars.

Zenith adds 10 Protection Modifiers and 10 Trial Modifiers. Protection options make a run more forgiving, while Trial options add difficulty; your selected combination determines whether you meet the entry threshold and how the layer plays.
