Samsung announced One UI 7 on March 18, 2025, with the global rollout scheduled to begin April 7, 2025. The first-wave timing differed by market: Samsung said eligible U.S. devices would start receiving it April 10, while Singapore’s rollout was announced for April 14. Your exact date depends on your country, carrier and Galaxy model.
When did One UI 7 come out?
Samsung announced the One UI 7 rollout on March 18, 2025. Its global rollout was scheduled to start April 7, 2025, but that date was not a promise that every Galaxy device would receive the update at once. Samsung’s U.S. announcement set April 10 as the start for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 in the United States. Samsung Singapore announced an April 14 start for the Galaxy S24 series in that market. Samsung’s global announcement, its U.S. announcement and Singapore announcement give the regional dates.
Why might a Galaxy phone receive it later?
The announced start dates mark the beginning of a staged rollout, not a single worldwide update window. Samsung says timing can vary by market and carrier. The exact Galaxy model also matters: Samsung named specific devices for each market’s first wave, with additional Galaxy phones and tablets to follow.
If your device has not received the update, check Samsung’s software update screen periodically and confirm your exact model and region against Samsung’s announcements. A later arrival than the announced market start does not by itself mean the device is ineligible.
