Yes. Samsung Browser—the Windows version of the app previously called Samsung Internet—officially launched on March 26, 2026, after a beta that began in the United States and South Korea on October 30, 2025. It syncs bookmarks and browsing history with Samsung devices, supports Samsung Pass sign-in and autofill, and can resume a webpage across devices. Its built-in AI can work with the current page and activity across tabs, but agentic AI availability is currently limited to the United States and South Korea.
What is Samsung Browser for Windows?

Samsung’s release notes record the name change and AI features in version 30.0.0.95, dated March 25, 2026; Samsung announced the official Windows launch the following day. The earlier beta opened on October 30, 2025, in the United States and South Korea.
The latest version listed in Samsung’s Windows release notes is 31.0.0.55, dated September 17, 2026. Samsung’s release history is available on its Windows release notes page.

Samsung describes sync for bookmarks and browsing history. Samsung Pass integration supports secure sign-in and autofill of profile information. Samsung also describes a continuity feature that lets you resume the same webpage when switching between mobile and PC.

Windows and Galaxy Connect requirements
Samsung lists Windows 11 and Windows 10 version 1809 or later as supported for Samsung Browser. Separately, Samsung said on August 26, 2026, that Galaxy Connect would be bundled into the installer. Galaxy Connect supports Windows 11 or later on x64 PCs with Intel or AMD processors; ARM-based PCs are not supported. That update also added sync for Samsung Reminder between Galaxy phones and Windows PCs.

What can Samsung Browser’s built-in AI do?
Samsung says its assistant was developed in partnership with Perplexity. It can use the current webpage and activity across tabs as context. Samsung’s documented examples include asking it to:
- Build a four-day Seoul itinerary from a webpage.
- Find a particular moment in a video.
- Search browsing history using natural language.
- Summarize or compare information across multiple tabs.
These examples describe task assistance and page-aware search, not a guarantee that every answer will be correct. Samsung warns that AI accuracy is not guaranteed, and its functions can vary by country, region and language.

Where is Samsung Browser AI available?
Samsung says agentic AI on Windows and Android is currently supported in South Korea and the United States, with expansion planned. The company has not specified a broader launch date in the cited availability information, so users elsewhere should check the feature’s availability in their region rather than assume it is enabled.
What to know about Samsung Pass and privacy
Samsung Pass provides secure sign-in and profile autofill through the browser. Samsung says Pass functions can vary by country because of regulatory and legal differences. The available launch details do not specify the full set of AI privacy controls or how data is handled for every feature, so review Samsung’s current product settings and notices in your region before using sensitive information with the assistant.

Who should consider Samsung Browser for Windows?
Its clearest use case is for someone who already uses a Galaxy phone and wants bookmarks, history, credentials and in-progress browsing to follow them to a PC. The named Galaxy Book3–Book6 continuity support makes it especially relevant to owners of those laptops. Users on ARM-based Windows PCs cannot use Galaxy Connect, and AI features are geographically limited; those constraints matter more than any unsubstantiated speed comparison.
