Samsung Electronics America specified April 10 as the start for those first models in the United States. The rollout was staged, so neither date meant every eligible Galaxy device would receive the update immediately.
When did the One UI 7 rollout start?
Samsung’s March 18, 2025 global announcement set April 7 as the start of the stable rollout. In the United States, Samsung Electronics America named April 10 for the initial Galaxy S24, Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 rollout. More Galaxy phones and tablets were to follow gradually, with timing varying by model and market.
These were announced start dates, not a promise that every owner in a country would see the update that day. The announcements do not establish the current deployment status of every model in every country.
Which Galaxy devices were included?
Samsung published different model examples for different markets. The lists below describe announced rollout plans, not universal eligibility or confirmed availability for every owner.

The Singapore list is a regional example and should not be read as confirmation that every listed model received the update simultaneously, or that the same schedule applied elsewhere. Carrier and market rollout timing may differ.
How to check whether your Galaxy has the update
- Confirm your exact Galaxy model and the country or carrier market where it is used; a family name alone may not match the regional schedule.
- On the device, open Settings > Software update > Download and install to check for an available update.
- If One UI 7 is not offered, check Samsung support information for your region and model and try again later. The rollout was gradual, and Samsung’s announcements do not provide a live, device-by-device status list.
What One UI 7 introduced
Samsung highlighted a redesigned home screen and lock screen, refreshed widgets, and the Now Bar for live information on the lock screen. Promoted AI tools included AI Select, Writing Assist, Drawing Assist and Audio Eraser. Samsung also described natural-language search in Settings and deeper integration with Google Gemini.

- Your model or market is in a later wave. Samsung announced a staged expansion, and regional announcements name different models and start dates.
- The announcement does not confirm your device’s live status. A model appearing in a rollout announcement does not prove the update is available to every owner at that moment.
- Feature support can differ even after updating. One UI 7 availability and the availability of particular AI or Gemini features are separate questions; support depends on the device and other stated requirements.
Samsung’s March 18 Global Newsroom announcement put it this way: “The update will be available starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, gradually rolling out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets.” Read Samsung’s announcement.
