RS Group brought its MRO supply-chain businesses IESA and Synovos together under one name, RS Integrated Supply, announcing the consolidation on 12 September 2022. The unified brand was intended to support a more consistent global service for industrial customers, combining outsourced procurement and storeroom management.
Which MRO businesses did RS Group consolidate?
The two businesses were IESA and Synovos. RS Group announced that they would operate under the RS Integrated Supply brand, replacing their separate identities. The company described the announcement as an initial step toward consolidating operating brands under a unified RS identity. This was a consolidation of RS Group’s MRO supply-chain solutions businesses and their branding; the available company material does not provide a like-for-like performance comparison of IESA and Synovos before and after the change.
What does RS Integrated Supply do?
RS Group describes RS Integrated Supply as providing outsourced storeroom management and procurement for multi-site industrial organisations. MRO refers to the maintenance, repair and operations supplies and processes needed to keep industrial facilities running. In this service model, a provider can manage purchasing and on-site inventory rather than leaving each location to handle those activities independently.

The 2022 announcement also described digital platforms that consolidate supply-chain information and provide predictive intelligence alongside historical data. RS Group said that its reporting and insight draw on collecting, cleansing and standardising data. Those are descriptions of the company’s service and intended capabilities, not independently measured customer outcomes. RS Group’s announcement quoted Debbie Bowring, then president of RS Integrated Supply, describing the combination of digitally enabled procurement, storeroom solutions and engineering skills.
Why did RS Group bring the businesses under one brand?
RS Group said a single global RS brand was intended to improve efficiency, support sustainable value and make the service more scalable. The company also cited reliability, consolidation, standardisation and total cost efficiencies as intended benefits. These were the company’s stated aims; the announcement did not quantify savings or establish that the brand change by itself delivered those results.

What happened to RS Integrated Supply after the 2022 announcement?
RS Group’s subsequent reporting shows the business continued and its operating strategy evolved. These later steps should be distinguished from the original brand consolidation: the reporting describes subsequent strategic and capability changes, but does not establish that the 2022 rebrand caused them.
FY25: strategy refresh
For the year ended 31 March 2025, RS Group reported a refreshed strategy for RS Integrated Supply that included exiting unprofitable clients, seeking new client acquisitions, and using standardisation and automation with the aim of improving efficiency and scalability. FY26: platform and on-site capability investment
For the year ended 31 March 2026, RS Group said it continued to refocus RS Integrated Supply and invest in its MRO management platform and on-site capabilities. In discussing RS SYNC Mobile, the company said the service combines product identification and classification with real-time inventory visibility across a curated marketplace of 24 million products. That figure describes the marketplace cited in RS Group’s FY26 results; it is not a count of products held at any one customer site. RS Group’s FY26 results provide the update.
