For most people buying a card game on October 20, 2026, TCG Card Shop Simulator is the better all-round choice. It is already a version 1.0 release, runs on PC and several consoles, and combines running a trading-card shop with opening packs and playing the Tetramon card game. Rip It! Card Collector is the more focused option: it is designed around completing a personal binder, selling duplicates and upgrading your collecting tools, but its full release is not scheduled until October 30, 2026.

The public version is currently a demo. Team Ballistic’s official release statement says, “Rip It! Card Collector launches on October 30th 2026.” Until that date, the 369-card demo is the version you can evaluate. The announced total of 1,809 cards applies to the full game, not the demo, and the unreleased version does not yet have an independent comparative review score.

Which game is more relaxing?

GamesRadar reported that TCG Card Shop Simulator had reached 4 million players and held 96% positive Steam reviews in 2026. Developer Ding Shen Sia told GamesRadar that TCG Card Shop Simulator was made after burning out from solo mobile-game development in 2023. That explains the project’s origin, not its quality or suitability for every player. The practical choice still comes down to whether you want a shop simulation with card play or a concentrated binder hunt.
