Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →For a long or continuous prerecorded YouTube loop, OneStream Live is the better-documented fit. Its materials describe up to 60 repeats in a scheduled stream and continuous 24/7 looping on YouTube. Restream is suited to scheduled prerecorded events and shorter repeats: its documented limit is 10 loops, with a 40-hour maximum looping stream. Both can schedule prerecorded video to appear live; the deciding factors are loop duration, playlist behavior, and scheduling needs.
Restream vs OneStream Live at a glance
| Need | Restream | OneStream Live |
|---|---|---|

| Repeat one video | Up to 10 loops, combined as one event; the looping stream can run up to 40 hours. Looping is a paid feature. Restream loop help | Up to 60 loops in the documented scheduling flow. OneStream separately describes infinite 24/7 streaming on YouTube only. Loop help · Feature overview |
| Repeat a playlist | Playlist looping is not supported in the cited help documentation. Restream suggests duplicating videos as a workaround, up to 40 videos in a playlist. Confirm the exact workflow in the current product. OneStream overview |
| Recurring broadcasts on separate dates | The cited pages establish scheduled events and editing or rescheduling, but do not establish a recurring-event feature. | Recurring streams can be set for a chosen day or week interval and a selected number of occurrences. OneStream recurring-stream help |
| Published pricing and allowances | The scheduling help page lists Premier at $39/month (2-hour library, 1080p), Marathon at $79/month (4-hour library, 1080p), and Media at $239/month (12-hour library, 4K); it says looping is available on Marathon and Media. Which service fits your loop?
Choose OneStream Live for long or continuous YouTube playback
OneStream is the stronger documented option when the requirement is a very long YouTube loop, up to 60 repeats in its scheduling flow, or recurring broadcasts on separate dates. Its materials describe continuous 24/7 streaming specifically for YouTube; do not assume that this 24/7 capability applies to other destinations.
Choose Restream for a finite scheduled event
Restream can suit a scheduled prerecorded event when up to 10 repeats and a maximum looping duration of 40 hours are enough, particularly if its other channel or workflow features matter to you. Those limits make it a less direct fit for an uninterrupted channel that must keep looping beyond that window.
Decide what “loop the playlist” means
Separate three jobs before selecting a tool: play a sequence once, repeat the sequence, or keep a continuous channel running. Restream explicitly says playlists do not loop and documents manual duplication as a workaround. OneStream supports playlists and continuous YouTube playback, but confirm that the exact playlist-repeat behavior you need is available in the current workflow.

What YouTube’s limits and policies mean for a repeating stream
A 24/7 stream may not produce a complete replay
YouTube says it can automatically archive a live stream if it is under 12 hours, and warns that a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. A continuous loop is therefore not a reliable way to create one complete replay. If you need an archive, plan shorter sessions or a separate recording and retention workflow. YouTube archive guidance
Looping does not make content eligible for monetization
YouTube’s monetization policies expect content to be original and authentic; repetitive or mass-produced material can be ineligible. The policy’s dated notice says the July 15, 2025 update renamed “repetitious content” to “inauthentic content,” while clarifying that repetitive or mass-produced content was already ineligible under the existing policy. A scheduler’s repeat control is not a monetization exemption. YouTube channel monetization policies

You remain responsible for rights and live-stream rules
YouTube’s live-stream terms require the provider to have the necessary rights for streamed material, including applicable music licensing rights, and to follow Community Guidelines and applicable law. Check rights for every video and audio track before scheduling a repeat broadcast. YouTube livestream terms
Monetization controls and ad delivery are separate questions
Eligibility and availability depend on YouTube and the channel, not just the scheduler. YouTube says monetized live streams may use ads, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and memberships where available, but ad slots are not guaranteed to serve.
