Choose the realme P3 5G if you want a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display, microSD expansion and a more value-oriented specification. Choose the vivo X300 FE if you want a compact 6.31-inch design, the higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, a two-camera zoom system, faster charging and IP68/IP69 protection. They are not direct tier-for-tier rivals: the P3 prioritizes screen area and expandable storage, while the X300 FE spends more on performance, cameras and compact hardware.
The comparison below uses India-market specifications published by realme and vivo. Those figures describe the listed hardware; they are not independent battery, camera or gaming test results.

Both phones list AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rates, but their physical priorities are different. The P3 is wider and taller, whereas the X300 FE is shorter, narrower and slightly lighter despite its larger battery.

Price difference in India: what is actually established
vivo announced the X300 FE in India on May 6, 2026. Its launch prices were ₹79,999 for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and ₹89,999 for 12GB with 512GB. The release said sales would begin on May 14, 2026 through Amazon, Flipkart, vivo’s e-store and retail partners.
Those are launch prices, not a guaranteed checkout price today. A current official realme P3 price was not verified in the available India results, so an exact present-day rupee difference cannot be stated responsibly. Retailer discounts, bank offers, exchange bonuses and storage variants can change the result from one day to the next.
How to make a fair live price comparison
- Match storage first. Compare the P3 256GB model with the X300 FE 256GB model, or compare the 128GB P3 against the lowest available X300 FE configuration only after noting that the capacities differ.
- Record the same-day checkout total. Use the final price after taxes and delivery, not a search-result snippet or an old launch announcement.
- Separate guaranteed discounts from conditional offers. List bank-card eligibility, exchange requirements and limited-time coupons separately from the unconditional price.
- Include practical storage costs. The P3 can take a microSD card in its shared SIM slot; the X300 FE requires you to buy enough internal storage at purchase.
- Check warranty and seller status. Confirm that the listing is for the India variant and is sold with the manufacturer’s local warranty.
Until those checks are made, treat the X300 FE figures above as historical launch reference points rather than a live quotation.
Size and display: large-screen immersion versus compact handling
realme P3: more room for games and video
The P3’s 6.67-inch AMOLED display is the larger of the two by a noticeable margin. Its 1080 × 2400 resolution is sufficient for everyday apps, streaming and games, while the 120Hz maximum refresh rate can make scrolling and supported games look smoother than a 60Hz panel.
realme lists a 2,000-nit peak-brightness figure. Peak numbers describe a maximum mode under specified conditions, not a guarantee that the entire screen remains at that level outdoors. For a buyer who reads, edits documents or plays games on a broad panel, the P3’s size is its clearest ergonomic advantage.

vivo X300 FE: sharper, smaller and easier to pocket
The X300 FE uses a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel at 2640 × 1216 and 120Hz. Its higher pixel count on a smaller surface should produce a denser image for text and fine interface elements, although perceived sharpness also depends on scaling and viewing distance.
vivo lists a 5,000-nit local-peak brightness claim. The company’s release describes that figure as based on internal laboratory testing, and actual brightness can vary with content, heat, battery state and ambient-light behavior. It should therefore be read as a specification claim, not as an independently measured outdoor result.

The small weight difference matters less than the different footprint: the vivo is the easier one-hand and pocket option, while the realme gives your thumbs and videos more space.
Performance and software
Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in the realme P3
The P3 is built around a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform with a listed maximum clock of 2.3GHz. That places it in a lower performance tier than the X300 FE. It is suited to normal communication, social apps, streaming, navigation and mainstream games, but the specification alone does not establish a frame rate or sustained-performance result.
realme promotes 90fps BGMI support with a note that availability depends on a future game update. Do not interpret that wording as proof that the phone currently sustains 90fps in every game version or for a full session. Actual frame rate depends on the installed game build, graphics settings, thermal conditions and testing method.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in the vivo X300 FE
The X300 FE lists a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 octa-core platform. It is a higher-tier design intended for demanding multitasking, advanced imaging workloads and heavier games. The specification indicates more headroom than the P3’s Snapdragon 6-series chip, but no controlled benchmark or head-to-head gaming measurement is established here. Quantitative claims such as a percentage speed advantage would require independent testing.

realme lists realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. vivo lists OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The different Android bases can affect interface behavior, feature availability and update timing. Before buying, check each manufacturer’s current support policy for the India model if long-term updates are a deciding factor; the listed launch software alone does not establish how many major upgrades either phone will receive.
Camera hardware: basic main camera versus a complete multi-camera set
What the P3 provides
The P3’s listed rear setup is a 50MP main camera. That can cover everyday photographs, documents and social posts, but the specification does not list a dedicated telephoto or ultrawide camera. A 50MP count by itself does not prove better detail, color, night performance or video stabilization; lens quality, sensor size, processing and OIS behavior matter as much as pixel count.
The cited core specifications do not establish the P3’s front-camera details. Check the exact India product page and retail box for that information if selfies or front-camera video are important to you.
What the X300 FE adds
The X300 FE lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. This gives you three native rear perspectives: the main lens for general scenes, the telephoto for tighter framing without relying only on digital crop, and the ultrawide for architecture or group shots.

Its front camera is a 50MP autofocus unit, which is a more specific selfie specification than the P3 information available here. Even so, camera resolution and lens count do not establish image-quality superiority without matched samples or laboratory tests. Treat the X300 FE’s advantage as versatility and stabilization hardware, not as a guaranteed ranking in every lighting condition.
Optional telephoto accessory
vivo’s launch release listed a separate ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 at ₹15,999 at launch. It is not included with the standard phone, requires the accessories kit, is compatible only with the vivo X300 FE and was described as offering a 200mm-equivalent focal length. Availability was limited to select retailers, and the launch price and stock should be verified before purchase. It is relevant only if you specifically want longer-reach photography; it is not necessary for ordinary X300 FE use.
Battery and charging
Capacity figures
realme rates the P3 at 6,000mAh typical capacity and 5,860mAh minimum capacity. vivo rates the X300 FE at 6,500mAh typical and 6,350mAh minimum. These are manufacturer ratings, not a promise that the vivo will last a fixed number of hours longer. Screen size, chipset efficiency, signal strength, brightness, camera use, games and software settings all change endurance.
Charging hardware
The P3 supports 45W wired charging. The X300 FE supports 90W FlashCharge, and vivo’s India release also states 40W wireless-charging support. Charging time depends on the supplied or compatible charger, cable, temperature and the percentage at which charging begins. The wattage comparison shows a faster charging tier for the vivo, but it is not a measured time comparison.
For long trips or heavy gaming, the P3’s capacity is still substantial and may be enough if you value its lower purchase tier and larger display. The X300 FE combines the larger listed battery with faster wired charging, which is more convenient when you need to restore power quickly.

Durability, storage and everyday practicality
Water and dust protection
realme promotes an IP69 rating for the P3 on its India product page. vivo lists both IP68 and IP69 for the X300 FE. IP ratings describe standardized ingress-protection conditions; they do not make a phone indestructible, and liquid damage can still be excluded from warranty coverage. Avoid treating either rating as permission for deliberate underwater use, especially with a damaged phone, open port or non-original repair.
Expandable storage on the P3
The P3 is listed with 128GB and 256GB options. Its shared SIM tray can hold one SIM plus one microSD card, so you can add inexpensive capacity for photos, downloaded video and music. The trade-off is that using the card slot may prevent you from using two physical SIMs at the same time.
Fixed storage on the X300 FE
The X300 FE is listed in 256GB and 512GB configurations with no expandable ROM. Choose the capacity at purchase: 256GB suits many users, while 512GB is safer if you keep large games, 4K video or extensive offline media. The higher-capacity model also carries the higher launch price.

Weight and pocket comfort
Although both phones are close to 190g, the X300 FE’s narrower body changes how that weight is distributed in a hand. The P3’s wider frame and larger panel favor two-handed gaming and video. Neither is an ultralight compact, but they target different handling preferences.
Which phone should you buy?
Choose the realme P3 5G when these priorities matter most
- You want the largest screen for gaming, streaming or reading.
- You need microSD expansion or want to start with 128GB and add capacity later.
- Your budget is closer to a value-oriented phone than to the X300 FE’s premium launch tier.
- You are comfortable with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform and do not need flagship-class performance.
- You prefer a large phone and can accept a shared SIM/microSD slot.
Choose the vivo X300 FE when these priorities matter most
- You want a genuinely compact 6.31-inch phone rather than a large-screen design.
- You need the higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform for demanding apps and games.
- You want a stabilized telephoto and ultrawide camera instead of a single listed rear camera.
- You value 90W wired charging, stated 40W wireless charging support and the larger listed battery.
- You want IP68 and IP69 ratings listed together and are willing to pay for fixed 256GB or 512GB storage.
When neither specification sheet is enough
If your decision depends on battery hours, sustained gaming frame rates, camera quality or outdoor readability, wait for independent tests of the exact India variants. The manufacturer figures establish the components and rated capacities, not comparative real-world results. A retailer price check on the day you buy is equally important because the P3’s current official price was not established alongside the X300 FE’s historical launch prices.
A practical India buying checklist
- Confirm the model and region. Match the India model number, RAM/storage combination and included charger before paying.
- Compare final prices. Check the same day across the manufacturer’s store and authorized retailers, then record whether a discount requires a particular bank card or exchange.
- Pick storage deliberately. Select 256GB or 512GB on the X300 FE because it has no listed expansion; on the P3, decide whether the shared slot will be used for microSD or a second SIM.
- Check accessories. Verify which charger is in the box. Treat the optional telephoto extender as a separate purchase, not part of the phone bundle.
- Inspect protection and warranty terms. IP ratings do not cover every type of liquid damage, and warranty conditions can vary after repairs or physical damage.
- Test your priority use case during the return window. Check one-hand comfort, preferred games, camera focal lengths, network reception and charging behavior under your own conditions.
Bottom-line decision
The realme P3 5G is the sensible choice for a larger display, expandable storage and a lower-tier value proposition. The vivo X300 FE earns its premium positioning with a compact body, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 hardware, a stabilized telephoto camera, faster charging and broader listed protection. Decide between them by matching your priorities and the live India checkout price rather than assuming that one specification sheet proves longer battery life or universally better photos.
