realme’s GT3 is the smartphone behind the company’s 240W charging debut, announced globally at Mobile World Congress on 28 February 2023. realme says it can charge from empty to full in about 9 minutes 30 seconds, using the included 240W charging system; those are manufacturer test results, not guaranteed times for every use condition.
How fast does the realme GT3 charge?
realme’s published charging milestones for the GT3 are 20% in 80 seconds, 50% in four minutes and 100% in about 9 minutes 30 seconds. The company’s global product page describes the full-charge result as “100% charge in 9 minutes and 30 seconds.” realme’s GT3 240W product page carries the manufacturer’s testing caveat: actual results can vary with software, environment and hardware version.
The headline figure is peak charging power, not a promise that the phone draws 240W continuously throughout the charge. realme also promotes “30-second charge, 2-hour call”; that is a manufacturer claim about a particular use case, not a measure of general battery runtime.
What does 240W mean for the charger and battery?
The GT3’s charging package is specified with a 20V/12A adapter, dual-GaN charger architecture and an ultra-fast 12A cable. The charger and cable are part of the charging system: a different adapter or cable may not reproduce the advertised performance. Check the bundle and plug type for the particular market and unit before buying.

realme lists the battery on its Malaysia specification page as 4600mAh typical capacity and 4450mAh rated capacity. These are two different capacity ratings for the same battery, not competing claims. The same company said the battery retains 80% capacity after 1600 charge cycles. That figure is a realme claim; it should not be read as a guarantee for every owner or usage pattern.

Where can you buy the realme GT3 240W?
The GT3 was introduced globally in 2023, but a launch announcement does not establish that it remains in stock or officially sold in every region today. realme Russia listed a starting price of 69,999 rubles with sales beginning 15 June 2023; that is historical, region-specific pricing, not a current worldwide price. Check realme’s local site and authorized retailers for current stock, pricing and warranty coverage.

If considering a replacement charger or cable, confirm that the accessory explicitly supports the GT3’s 240W system and 12A cable requirements. Verify connector and regional plug compatibility, seller reputation, and the warranty that applies in your country. A high wattage printed on an unrelated charger alone does not prove it will deliver the GT3’s advertised charging speed.

Compare phones by more than their maximum wattage. Charging time and long-term battery capacity are separate measures, and fast charging alone does not show which phone lasts longest between charges or offers the best overall value.
