Yes. Puka Nacua was limited at the Rams’ Thursday practice on October 1, 2026, while preparing for Week 4 at Philadelphia. The Rams’ final report listed him as limited Wednesday and Thursday, then full Friday, with no game-status designation; head coach Sean McVay said Friday that Nacua “will” be good to go Sunday.
What was Nacua’s Thursday practice status?
The Rams’ official practice photo gallery places Nacua at the team’s Thursday, October 1 practice in Woodland Hills. The next day, the Rams’ final Week 4 injury report listed him as a wide receiver with a hip injury and marked his participation limited for Thursday.
That Thursday entry was a practice update, not a final determination about his availability for the game against the Eagles.
What did the final injury report say?
| Practice day | Rams-listed participation |
|---|---|
| Wednesday | Limited |
| Thursday | Limited |
| Friday | Full |
The Rams’ October 2 final report gave Nacua no game-status designation for Sunday. In the team’s October 2 account of his return to practice, McVay was asked whether Nacua would be good to go and replied, “he will.”

Why was he returning to practice?
Nacua had missed the Rams’ previous two games, against the Giants and Broncos. The team reported his return to practice during preparation for Week 4.
The injury wording varies across the Rams’ reports. The final injury report lists “Hip,” while the team’s earlier account quotes McVay describing “groin soreness.” Rams coverage also recounts psoas soreness earlier in the preseason. These are distinct descriptions reported at different times, not interchangeable diagnoses.

What the update does—and does not—establish
- Established: Nacua was limited Thursday, October 1, and then practiced fully Friday, according to the Rams’ final Week 4 report.
- Pregame expectation: The Rams assigned no game-status designation, and McVay said he expected Nacua to be good to go Sunday.
- Not established by these reports: Whether Nacua ultimately played against Philadelphia or what his condition was afterward. The reports were published before the game.
