The November 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Game is Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered, but it is not claimable on October 30. Sony announced a claim window of November 3 through November 30, 2026. From November 3, an active PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra or Premium membership lets you add the game to your library without an additional game charge, then download it to a PS5. October’s Monthly Games remain available only through November 2.
If you meant the separate PS5 adventure The Midnight Walk, that is an Extra/Premium Game Catalog title in the US, not the November all-tier Monthly Game. The instructions below explain both routes so you can use the right entitlement.

When can I claim Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered?
You can claim it from November 3 through November 30, 2026. Sony’s October 28 announcement states that the collection is “All playable from November 3,” but it does not promise a particular refresh hour for every regional storefront. If the title does not appear at midnight in your time zone, check again later on November 3 rather than assuming your membership is faulty.
The October Monthly Games offer runs through November 2. That gives you a final opportunity to add October’s titles before the November lineup replaces them. A game must be added during its published offer period; simply having an active subscription on November 30 does not automatically place a title in your library.

The announcement date and the claim date are different. Sony announced the November lineup on October 28, but the entitlement opens on November 3. On October 30, the collection is therefore announced rather than available to claim. Do not interpret a store page, pre-release listing or missing button as proof that your account is broken.
Which PlayStation Plus tiers include the game?
Monthly Games are a benefit of all three current PlayStation Plus tiers: Essential, Extra and Premium. “Free” in this context means that an eligible member pays no separate game charge; it does not mean that the game is available without a paid PlayStation Plus subscription. Sony does not identify a separate purchase price for this monthly entitlement, so the relevant cost is the subscription you choose, not an extra checkout for the collection.

PlayStation Plus membership continues until you cancel it. Canceling stops future renewal; it does not turn a Monthly Game into a permanently owned license. Once the membership is no longer active, access to Monthly Games is suspended until an eligible subscription is restored. If you later resubscribe, a title that you previously claimed can generally be used again while the account is eligible, but the entitlement still belongs to the claiming account.

Prepare these items before the November offer opens:
- A PlayStation 5 connected to the internet and signed in to the PlayStation Network account that holds your PlayStation Plus membership.
- An active Essential, Extra or Premium subscription on that account.
- Enough console storage for the installation. Sony’s announcement identifies the game and platforms but does not state an installation-size requirement, so check the download screen for the current figure rather than relying on an estimate.
- A storefront region in which the November Monthly Games offer is available. Publication dates are announced centrally, while the exact time a local store refreshes can vary.
You do not need a PlayStation VR2 headset to claim or play the standard PS5 version of Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered. A DualSense wireless controller is the normal PS5 input device, but no special or replacement controller is required for redemption. The collection is identified as single-player, so neither a second controller nor a multiplayer subscription requirement is established.
If you do not own a PS5, the collection was also announced for PS4. You can claim it on the same PlayStation Plus account during the November window, although the menu labels and download path differ on the older console. The offer is digital; there is no instruction to buy a disc in order to receive the monthly entitlement.
How do I claim the Monthly Game on PS5?

- From the PS5 home screen, open Games.
- Select PlayStation Plus.
- Open Benefits, then choose Monthly Games.
- Highlight Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered. Confirm that the title, artwork and offer period match the November listing.
- Choose Add to Library if that option appears. If your interface goes directly to installation, choose Download instead.
- Wait for the download and installation to finish, then start the game from the Games home screen or your Game Library.
The “Add to Library” action is the important entitlement step. Downloading immediately is convenient, but adding the game first also records the claim while the offer is open. If the interface only presents Download, follow that displayed flow; Sony’s menus can combine claiming and installation.
Do not expect a November claim button before November 3. On October 30, the title has been announced but the offer has not opened, so a missing button at that point is expected rather than an account error.
How do I download it later after adding it to my library?
After you have claimed the Monthly Game during its offer window, you can download it again while your eligible membership remains active. You do not have to keep the original installation on the console.
- From the PS5 home screen, open Games.
- Choose Game Library.
- Open Your Collection.
- Select Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered.
- Choose Download and select any displayed installation option.
Sony also supports starting a remote download from a web browser or the PlayStation App. The console and account must meet Sony’s remote-download setup requirements, including being associated with the same PlayStation Network account. If the title is absent from Your Collection, first verify that you claimed it during the November 3–30 window and that the membership is currently active. A different family member’s account, even on the same console, will not substitute for the account that received the entitlement.
Remote downloading does not change the entitlement rules. It starts an installation on an associated console; it does not claim a Monthly Game after November 30, and it cannot bypass an expired membership. If you are away from home, check the app or browser confirmation and then verify the download queue on the PS5 when you return.
What is included in Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered?
The collection brings together three games:
- Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
- Tomb Raider: Chronicles
- Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness
Aspyr describes the package as a single-player action/adventure collection. Each game lets you switch between its original polygonal models and remastered visuals, so the choice is an in-game presentation setting rather than a separate purchase. The announced offer covers the PS5 and PS4 versions; the steps in this guide use the PS5 menus.
The three included titles are not three separate Monthly Game claims. Adding Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered adds the announced collection entitlement, with the constituent adventures available inside that package. Sony’s announcement does not provide an installation-size figure, review score, completion-time estimate or sales statistic, so check the live product page for technical details that may vary by storefront.

Nothing in Sony’s announcement establishes a multiplayer mode or a PS VR2 requirement for this collection. Treat it as a conventional single-player controller game unless the product page for your region states otherwise.

The Midnight Walk is a different PS5 adventure. Sony listed it in the US Game Catalog from October 14, 2026, for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. It is a clay-crafted dark-fantasy journey featuring the Burnt One and Potboy, and it can be played on an ordinary PS5 or optionally in PS VR2.
To download it on PS5:
- Open Games from the PS5 home screen.
- Select PlayStation Plus.
- Open Benefits, then choose Game Catalog.
- Select The Midnight Walk from the eligible titles.
- Choose Download.
This route requires Extra or Premium, not Essential. Catalog availability can change: if Sony removes the game, downloading or playing it through the catalog may no longer be possible even if you previously installed it. Regional catalog dates also differ, so the October 14 date applies to the US listing cited here.
Unlike a Monthly Game, a catalog title does not become a lasting library entitlement merely because you downloaded it once. Your access depends on both an eligible tier and Sony continuing to list the game in the catalog. That is why a reader looking for The Midnight Walk under Monthly Games will not find the correct button.
What is the difference between a Monthly Game and a Game Catalog title?
The two benefits use different entitlement rules. A Monthly Game must be added during its limited claim period, while a Game Catalog title is available only while Sony keeps it in the catalog.

In practical terms, claim Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered before November 30 even if you do not intend to install it immediately. For The Midnight Walk, install and play while the catalog listing and your Extra or Premium membership are both current. - On or after November 3: Allow for a regional storefront refresh, then close and reopen the PlayStation Plus page. Sony publishes the date but not one universal refresh time for every region.
- You are looking in Game Catalog: Monthly Games and Game Catalog are separate sections. Use Benefits > Monthly Games for the Tomb Raider collection.
- You have no eligible membership: Essential, Extra or Premium is required. A PlayStation Network account by itself does not provide the Monthly Games entitlement.
- The title was claimed but is not downloadable: Check that you are signed into the account that claimed it and that the PlayStation Plus membership has not expired.
If a download fails after the title is correctly claimed, confirm that the PS5 is online, has sufficient free storage and is using the account with the entitlement. Sony’s library-download support provides the current account and console requirements for remote downloads. If a store page still shows only a purchase option after the offer opens, return to the PlayStation Plus benefits page instead of buying the game separately; the monthly claim should be completed through the eligible subscription flow.
Can I claim it after November 30?
Sony’s announced claim period ends November 30, 2026. A Monthly Game that was never added during its offer window should not be treated as claimable later simply because the subscriber still has PlayStation Plus. Add it before the closing date if you want the entitlement associated with your library.

A PlayStation 5 console is required for the PS5 instructions, while DualSense is the standard controller Sony identifies for PS5. Neither a replacement controller nor PS VR2 is required to redeem Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered. PS VR2 is relevant only if you choose the optional VR presentation of The Midnight Walk.
