Zentral is an Apple device management platform for client platform engineers and IT managers. It covers macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS, with automated enrollment through Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager. Its management scope includes configuration profiles, application distribution, FileVault recovery-key escrow, remote commands, command auditing, and unified hardware, software, and configuration inventory. The open-source model and Docker-based self-hosting option make it a fit for teams that want control over deployment and configuration.
Pricing is structured around paid modules alongside free modules and open-source self-hosting. Zentral Santa costs €3 per device per month and includes Support, Zentral Core, and Santa with the Exception Portal.
