Our verdict on Xcellerate RMM
Xcellerate RMM is a remote monitoring and management platform for managed service providers and internal IT teams. It manages Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints with inventory, patch management, remote desktop and background access, scripting, automation, monitoring, alerting, onboarding, reporting, and network discovery. Its deployment options span free self-hosted software, managed SaaS hosting, and enterprise services, making it suited to teams evaluating open-source or hybrid RMM operations.
The plan structure separates deployment control from support and service levels. Community is self-hosted, includes all features, unlimited devices and technicians, and SSO and MFA, with community support. Cloud starts at €1.25 per device per month when billed monthly and adds managed hosting, automatic updates, daily backups, a 99.9% uptime SLA, email support, and EU data residency; the published notes also state that the first 10 devices are free forever. Enterprise Standard costs €15,000 per year and adds business-hours support, a dedicated technical account manager, training, and upgrade and migration assistance. Premium and Elite add progressively broader support, response commitments, engineering access, custom SLA options, health checks, custom feature development, and private cloud deployment.
