Our verdict on wnm-systems vServer
wnm-systems vServer provides Linux virtual servers on the provider’s own hardware in German data centers. It is aimed at small and mid-market customers running websites, databases, development and staging environments, plus some online-shop or ERP workloads. Each plan includes full root access, SSD storage and separate HDD backup storage, while customers can choose self-administration or add managed maintenance.
The published plans show three monthly tiers. vServer Linux S costs €39 per month plus VAT and includes 1 CPU core, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB SSD and 50 GB HDD backup storage. vServer Linux M costs €59 and doubles the allocation to 2 CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB SSD and 100 GB HDD backup storage. vServer Linux L costs €99 and provides 4 CPU cores, 12 GB RAM, 200 GB SSD and 200 GB HDD backup storage. Managed maintenance adds €19 per month to any tier. The upgrade path across S, M and L gives workloads room to grow without changing the product line.
Administration is flexible for teams that want root-level control, with optional Plesk Webadmin for a graphical management layer. Phone support is available, and the service lists GDPR and ISO 27001 compliance. Its cloud deployment model and German infrastructure suit customers prioritizing local hosting and provider-owned hardware. The trade-off is a Linux-only scope, so organizations requiring Windows servers or broader platform choices should look elsewhere. Customers comfortable managing Linux can select a lower-cost self-administered plan; those wanting operational assistance should budget for the managed add-on.
