Our verdict on Vooter
Vooter brings consultations, surveys, votes and information campaigns together for municipalities, public bodies, associations, companies and other groups. Participation is available on web, iOS and Android, with tools for both ongoing engagement and events. Groups can collect ideas, run quizzes, share notifications and organize participatory-budgeting workflows. Vooter is now owned by Groupe JVS and available only when integrated with JVS products, which makes its fit clearest for organizations already working within that ecosystem.
Its feature breadth goes beyond polling: live voting can project results, while multi-group communities, event interactions and real-time analysis support different participation formats. That range may suit teams seeking a shared platform for deliberation and activity rather than a tool focused only on ballots. The available plans describe different group sizes and ways to join: Start supports up to 20 people and code-based entry; Plus supports up to 50 and adds customizable codes and geolocation; Pro supports up to 200, adds secure invitations and optional result transparency. Max offers unlimited participants, training and on-site support options.
The published standalone pricing lists a free Start plan, Plus at €480 per year and Pro at €990 per year. Max has no price stated here, and those standalone tiers may not reflect the current integrated offer. Support also varies, from email technical support on Start to phone support on Plus and Pro, with phone support and training on Max. Small organizations seeking an affordable mobile voting service should weigh the JVS integration requirement carefully; those without that connection may be better served by a standalone alternative. For existing JVS customers, Vooter’s mix of voting, consultation and community workflows is the more relevant proposition.
