Our verdict on VerifyWise
VerifyWise gives governance, security and compliance teams a place to register AI models and applications, assess risks, manage policies and track compliance evidence. Its workflows also cover vendors, incidents, mitigations and audit trails. The combination of managed cloud and self-hosted deployment makes it relevant to smaller enterprises that need flexibility in where the system runs, as well as organizations looking to coordinate AI oversight across several governance tasks.
The product’s scope is broader than an inventory or policy register alone. Teams can maintain model and system records, assign and track risk mitigations, assess projects and vendors, manage versioned policies with approvals, and collect evidence against compliance controls. The listed frameworks include EU AI Act, ISO 42001, ISO 27001 and NIST AI RMF, with additional frameworks available via plugins. Audit-ready reports and incident corrective actions extend that workflow. This breadth may suit teams seeking a shared governance process; organizations that only need one narrow control, such as a standalone inventory, may find the combined toolkit more than they need.
