It collects telemetry through HTTP, MQTT, TCP, and UDP APIs, then supports time-series analysis, real-time dashboards, alerts, device management, exports, and embedded views. Its feature set also covers anomaly detection, mathematical and statistical calculations, Python machine-learning model deployment, white-label applications, and multi-tenant organizations. That makes it a fit for SMBs that need practical monitoring and analytics without limiting the product to a single device or data protocol.
The pricing structure separates a free non-commercial Ubidots STEM environment from the core platform. STEM includes three free devices, while the core product provides a 30-day trial. Professional costs $99 per month and includes dashboards, basic alerts, user management, 50 devices, 10 million dots per month, six months of data retention, up to five end users, and up to five organizations. Industrial adds a custom-branded app, multiple apps, advanced plugins, support for one to thousands of devices, 24 months of retention, and standard support.
