Our verdict on Trust & Will
Trust & Will is an online estate-planning service for U.S. individuals and families. Its guided workflows cover wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, HIPAA authorizations, healthcare directives, beneficiary planning, and state-specific estate documents. Plans support digital downloads and physical document shipping, while the Digital Safe provides document storage. It is suited to consumers who want to organize a broad estate plan online rather than address only a single document.
The one-time plans cover several levels of planning. The Will Plan — Individual costs $199 and includes a Last Will & Testament, HIPAA Authorization, Living Will, and Power of Attorney. The Will Plan — Couples costs $299 and includes an Advance Healthcare Directive instead of a Living Will. Trust plans add a Revocable Living Trust and related documents: the Individual plan costs $499 and includes a Pour-Over Will and Schedule of Assets, while the Couples plan costs $599 and includes a Pour-Over Will and Certification of Trust. Attorney Support is available as a $299 one-time add-on with live attorney access and guidance before finalizing documents.
The ongoing Essentials Membership costs $49 per year and adds an AI assistant, Digital Safe storage, one free document shipment per billing cycle, and plan updates. That makes the service more suitable for people who expect to revisit their plan or want continuing access to stored documents. Its focus is broad guided planning, with web access and coverage across 50 states, but trust documents are not available in Louisiana.
