TrueConf is self-hosted video conferencing and collaboration software for businesses, government organizations, education, healthcare, and other organizations that need control over their communications infrastructure. It combines video meetings, webinars, messaging, screen and presentation sharing, recording, scheduling, polling, reactions, remote desktop control, and AI transcription and summarization. Participation is supported through web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, with interoperability for SIP/H.323 devices. The platform is particularly suited to large deployments managed by an organization rather than teams seeking a simple hosted meeting service.

Pricing spans a free server product and paid server options. TrueConf Server Free costs $0 per server and includes messaging for up to 1,000 users, video conferencing for up to 10 participants, collaboration tools, Active Directory and LDAP support, and SIP/H.323 interoperability for 1 connection. TrueConf Server starts at $10 per user per year with annual billing and adds conferences for up to 2,000 participants, on-premises operation without an Internet connection, webinars with registration, conference streaming, and meeting transcription and summarization powered by TrueConf AI Server. TrueConf Enterprise supports up to 1 million users and adds multi-server scalability, automatic load balancing, redundancy and disaster tolerance, multi-factor authentication, and DLP integration; its pricing is quote-based.

Its ecosystem is broad for organizations with existing communications and business systems. Integrations include Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, Zoom, Cisco Webex, GoToMeeting, Pexip, Asterisk, FreePBX, YouTube, Telegram, Twitch, Moodle, Active Directory, and OpenLDAP. Calendar integration supports scheduling, while recording can occur on clients or the server. Choose TrueConf if on-premises control, large participant capacity, directory integration, and cross-platform access matter. Organizations wanting only small online meetings may find the free plan’s 10-participant video limit restrictive.
