Our verdict on TODO Reminder: Tasks & Alarms
TODO Reminder: Tasks & Alarms is a mobile task list for people organizing errands, household chores and work deadlines. It is available on Android and iOS, and its free app supports dated or timed tasks, notifications or audible alarms, and recurring schedules. A monthly calendar, home-screen widget and completion history provide ways to review tasks beyond the main list. Its straightforward focus makes it a fit for solo users and small-scale personal task tracking rather than broader team planning.
Offline access and local storage are central to the app’s approach. Task content stays on the device, and the app says tasks can be added and checked without an account. A transfer-file option supports moving tasks between devices. These choices suit someone who wants reminders available without relying on an online connection, but they also mean the app does not provide calendar sync. People who need reminders to appear in a separate calendar should consider a tool with that capability.
For everyday scheduling, the combination of repeat options and alarm controls is useful: tasks can recur daily, on weekdays, weekly or monthly, and alarms can be snoozed. The free app also includes a monthly calendar view and a widget, while its overall scope remains a personal reminder list rather than a broad productivity suite. Choose TODO Reminder for simple mobile task reminders with offline access; look elsewhere if calendar synchronization or desktop access is important to your workflow.
