Our verdict on TherapyAppointment
TherapyAppointment is a web-based electronic medical record and practice management platform for mental health therapists, solo practices, and group practices. It brings scheduling, client self-scheduling, automated reminders, digital intake forms, secure messaging, clinical notes, billing, insurance claims, online payments, telehealth, and reporting into one system. It runs on Macs, PCs, iPads, and smartphones without desktop software, making it suited to practices that want browser-based access across devices. The published plans show a 30-day all-access trial followed by monthly pricing based on booked session volume.
Pricing is designed around activity rather than per-user billing. Solo practices pay $10 per month for 0–10 booked sessions, $39 per month for 11–39 sessions, or $59 per month for 40 or more sessions. The Group Practice plan costs $59 per month for unlimited sessions, with an additional $39 per month for each clinician and a $10 per month charge when the practice has fewer than 11 appointments. Full feature access follows the trial, so the entry plan includes the same core scheduling and practice-management capabilities while session volume remains within its range.
