Our verdict on The Guild

The Guild is association management software for trade associations, professional associations, chambers of commerce, and similar organizations. Its core is a searchable system for member companies and people, including roles, contact details, status, membership types, and related event records. It also covers invoices, payments, receipts, credits, finance reports, event publishing, email campaigns, documents, permissions, and public-facing member and event pages. Organizations focused on maintaining records, coordinating events, and communicating with members will find the broadest fit.

For day-to-day administration, The Guild brings several operational areas into one product. Administrators can search across members, companies, and events; track event registration windows, capacity, and status; and create email campaigns with templates, saved audiences, a media library, and delivery reporting. Membership, renewal, data-quality, and finance reports add visibility for ongoing administration. Document storage is suited to bylaws, board minutes, and member resources, while administrator and superadmin roles help separate access responsibilities. The published offering is paid and includes a 30-day trial.

The main boundary is transactional rather than administrative. The vendor states that online membership payment collection and event checkout are not currently available, so organizations that require website-based joining, dues payment, or event purchasing should choose a product with those workflows. The Guild is better suited to teams that can manage those transactions through another process while using the platform for records, billing history, communications, reporting, documents, and public directories.
