Tencent Cloud Data Lake Compute (DLC) is a managed, serverless service for analyzing data across object storage, databases, data warehouses, and NoSQL sources. It is aimed at enterprise data lake analysis, data platform construction, federated analytics, log analysis, and data science workloads. Users can query through the web or API with standard SQL, while the service provides managed storage, native Iceberg tables, data catalogs, databases, tables, views, functions, and fine-grained data and engine permissions.
Pricing is usage-based rather than a simple monthly subscription. The Shared engine charges based on successfully scanned query data, although this option is documented as discontinued for new users and available to existing users. Dedicated engine pay-as-you-go provides elastic dedicated compute resources and bills by CU usage and runtime. Dedicated engine subscription provides dedicated compute resources, with elastic expansion charged separately at the pay-as-you-go rate.
