Switchboard Live is a cloud-based live-stream management platform for public-sector organizations, media teams, marketers, campaigns, and other broadcasters. It accepts feeds from compatible streaming encoders and distributes them to multiple destinations, including social networks, streaming services, and custom RTMP endpoints. Access is through a web browser, with an API also available, and no downloaded client software is required. Its feature set fits teams managing scheduled or prerecorded broadcasts across several channels.
Pricing uses a contact-sales model rather than published amounts. The SMB plan includes unlimited multistreaming destinations, unlimited Facebook Pages, 1 RTMP input, 2 team members, and email support. Public Sector adds RTMP or SRT input support, 3 team members, phone support, and a 30-day archive. Enterprise includes 3 RTMP or SRT inputs, 3+ team members, 30+ day archives, and 24/7 streams. The free trial provides 99 free minutes without requiring a credit card, while the product does not offer a permanent free plan.
