Surface Analytics helps People teams explore connected workforce data through natural-language questions and follow-ups. It can turn questions into visualizations, apply shared organizational context, and support reporting with saved charts, downloads, and embedded live views. That makes it a fit for teams that want an approachable way to investigate people data and share findings. It is less suited to buyers whose main requirement is detailed predictive analytics or workforce-planning capabilities.
Analysis can start with automatically selected visualizations or a specified chart type, then be refined through chart types, filters, labels, and palettes. Supported formats include bar, line, donut, and scatter charts. Teams can save live charts or static snapshots to a gallery, download charts as images or CSV, and embed live views in reports. Shared definitions, permissions, benchmarks, and organizational context help align analysis across the broader Surface platform.
