Our verdict on StreamRelay
StreamRelay is a cloud relay service for IRL and mobile live streaming. It accepts RTMP, SRT and SRTLA streams from phones, encoders and streaming applications, then makes the feed available to OBS Studio as a media source. That makes it a fit for mobile streamers, creators and operators who need a reachable relay without configuring a server or port forwarding. The service is web-based and supports integrations with OBS Studio, Moblin, IRLPro, NOALBS, Larix, Streamlabs, vMix and FFmpeg.
Pricing is straightforward. The StreamRelay Core plan costs €9.99 per month on monthly billing and includes one SRT/SRTLA/RTMP endpoint, 1080p60 video quality, EU routing via DE-CIX Frankfurt, unlimited traffic and email support. Additional endpoints are available separately. The published pricing notes EUR net pricing, so final checkout totals vary by location. For a single mobile feed, the included endpoint and unlimited traffic keep the offering focused and easy to evaluate. Organizations needing multiple concurrent relay endpoints should account for the separate endpoint cost.
The standout feature is protocol flexibility for mobile contribution workflows: RTMP and SRT ingest are paired with SRTLA connection bonding, while endpoint-specific stream keys help separate access by feed. Optional stream recording and a live stream statistics endpoint add operational value, and the OBS Studio media-source workflow provides a clear destination for the relayed feed. StreamRelay is a strong choice for affordable, EU-routed relay between mobile encoders and OBS. It is less suitable for teams seeking built-in production tools, multichannel publishing or more than one destination within the core plan.
