It is aimed at practitioners, organizations, government and nonprofit users, and academic institutions that need menu-driven analysis. Version 19 provides more than 290 statistical procedures, including statistical tests, hypothesis testing, multiple regression models, and a design of experiments wizard. Dashboards and data visualization extend its use beyond individual calculations.
Its breadth is the main reason to consider it. Regression coverage includes linear, nonlinear, logistic, Poisson, and negative binomial models, while predictive analytics, data mining, and machine learning address more advanced work. Quality-focused users also get statistical process control and process capability analysis.
