SimpleHelp review
Broad remote operations coverage, but session-based pricing raises the cost bar.

SimpleHelp is remote support and remote access software for IT teams, support providers, and organizations managing distributed computers. It combines on-demand support sessions with unattended access, monitoring, alerts, file transfer, diagnostics, terminal access, scripting, automation, session recording, audit history, and browser-based technician access. Support for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android endpoints gives it a broad operating footprint, while cloud and self-hosted deployment suit organizations with different infrastructure preferences.
Pricing is based on simultaneous sessions rather than technician accounts or devices. Standard starts at $270 per session and includes remote support, unattended access, up to 1,000 remote access machines, and five-session bundle pricing. Business starts at $360 per session and adds unlimited remote access machines, monitoring and alerts, scheduled automation, and mass deployment. Enterprise is $400 per session with annual billing and adds high-availability failover, RADIUS authentication, and a licensing server. A 30-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
The product’s strongest case is breadth for teams that need more than one-off remote control. Active Directory, Entra ID, OpenID Connect, LDAP, RADIUS, and a Web API support identity and operational integration, while AI-assisted fleet management through Cyana extends the platform toward ongoing fleet administration. Session recording and playback, technician audit history, reports, file mirroring, and remote scripting add operational depth. Choose SimpleHelp when monitoring, automation, unattended access, and deployment flexibility justify session-based pricing. Organizations seeking a free option or a simpler, lower-cost remote support tool should look elsewhere.
