Our verdict on Simple Asset Tracker

Simple Asset Tracker is self-hosted fixed-asset software for finance teams, external auditors and IT departments that need to reconcile register records with physical assets. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and supports importing registers from Excel or CSV. Teams can print custom-sized QR labels, scan them with smartphones for physical verification, and create verification events with downloadable reconciliation reports. Its intended scope is fixed assets and IT equipment custody rather than location tracking across a mobile fleet.
