Scout Suite is an open-source, command-line tool for auditing cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, DigitalOcean, and cloud-hosted Kubernetes clusters. It is aimed at security consultants, auditors, and engineers who need to collect configuration data, identify security gaps, and review an account’s posture. The tool runs on macOS and Linux, and its multi-cloud coverage includes cloud asset inventory.
Its integration model is centered on cloud-provider APIs. Scout Suite collects configuration data from each supported environment, then produces an HTML report containing findings and account configuration.
