Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud is a cloud CRM for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, consumer health, and animal health organizations. It brings clinical, medical, commercial, patient-services, and provider-engagement workflows into Salesforce. Core capabilities include clinical-trial participant recruitment and enrollment, patient programs, therapy orchestration, financial assistance, provider relationship management, pharmacy-benefit verification, HCP visit management, field inventory, patient-reported outcomes, and adverse-event capture. It is best suited to life sciences teams that need one environment for clinical engagement and related commercial or patient-service operations.

Pricing is structured around four paid plans, all shown in USD per user per month with annual billing. Life Sciences Cloud Enterprise starts at $350 and includes Clinical and Insurance Data Models, Advanced Therapy Management, and Intelligent Sales. Life Sciences Cloud Unlimited costs $525 and adds more storage and automation, Unlimited Custom and Lightning Apps, plus 24/7 Toll-free Support and Expert Coaching. The two Agentforce 1 plans cost $750: one for Service and one for Sales. Both include Agentforce for Life Sciences Cloud, Flex Credits, Data Cloud, Slack, and Tableau Next; the Service plan adds Digital Engagement, while the Sales plan adds Sales Performance Management. A 30-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.

The platform’s main advantage is breadth. Flow, Process Builder, and Business Rules Engine support workflow automation, while the offline-capable mobile application supports synchronization for field work. Integration paths include MuleSoft, APIs, connected applications, IQVIA OneKey, SAP Concur, Data 360, Slack, and Tableau. AI-assisted engagement and recommendations are also included. Teams should choose it when clinical, patient, provider, and field workflows need to connect across a larger Salesforce environment. Smaller teams or buyers seeking a lower-cost CRM should look elsewhere, since the annual starting price is substantial and the highest tiers add significant cost.
