Our verdict on RunArc

RunArc is a running and walking tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch, aimed at solo runners who want to record and review runs from the watch. Its Apple Watch app can record GPS workouts without an iPhone, while the iPhone app presents routes, pace, splits, stride, elevation and personal bests. Treadmill tracking uses step-based estimation, and the feature set also includes live voice pace coaching, run/walk intervals, goals, weekly challenges and badges. It is a focused option for individual runners rather than a team or social running platform.

The watch-first recording and feedback tools are the main distinction. Runners can get live pace coaching and splits during an outing, then inspect maps, pace charts and workout history afterward. Apple Health syncing is the sole listed integration, so the product fits most naturally for people who organize their workouts around Apple's ecosystem; runners who depend on connections to other services should weigh that limitation. There are no AI features listed.

RunArc has a free version with GPS tracking, stats, badges, challenges and history, plus a three-day Premium trial. Premium is offered as monthly, annual and lifetime plans; Premium adds features including cloud sync and GPX export. The listing gives a starting price of 0.99, but the supplied pricing information does not clarify its currency or which Premium plan it applies to, so check the current App Store in-app purchase terms before subscribing. Choose RunArc for standalone Apple Watch recording and practical coaching features; consider another tracker if broader integrations or clearly comparable plan pricing matter more. Mac compatibility is listed for Apple silicon, rather than as a native Mac app.
