Our verdict on RingCentral Webinar
RingCentral Webinar is a cloud service for company-wide meetings, training sessions, presentations and other moderated town halls. It suits mid-market and enterprise teams that need controlled audience participation rather than an open video meeting. Hosts can manage panelists, audience permissions and backstage rehearsals, while attendees join through a browser or RingCentral apps. Core event tools include registration forms, questionnaires, reminders, polling, chat, moderated Q&A, analytics, recording and sharing. AI-assisted response drafting and translations extend its support for multilingual events.
The Town Halls plan costs $30 per 500-attendee license per month with annual billing and is available as an add-on to RingEX plans. That plan includes unlimited town halls and up to 500 attendees. There is no free plan. Calendar and workflow connections include Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Marketo, Salesforce, Zapier and YouTube Live, giving event teams options for scheduling, marketing automation, CRM workflows and livestream distribution. The published feature set also includes automated follow-up emails and attendance and engagement analytics.
RingCentral Webinar’s strongest fit is a repeatable corporate town-hall program where moderation, rehearsals and structured interaction matter. Its web deployment keeps attendee access simple, but the listed platform coverage is narrower than products spanning multiple dedicated applications. The 500-attendee license is clear for the stated use case, while larger sessions require a different capacity arrangement. Security and governance signals include SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance, plus SSO. Teams needing moderated Q&A, polls, recordings and enterprise integrations should consider it; organizations seeking a free tier or broader deployment coverage should look elsewhere.
