Our verdict on Reminders: Todo List & Notes
Reminders: Todo List & Notes brings to-do lists, notes, alarms and calendar views together for people organizing everyday tasks on Android. It supports one-time and recurring notifications, priority flags, custom filters and home-screen widgets. The free tier includes unlimited lists, tasks and tags, making it a fit for solo users or small-scale personal planning who want reminders without starting with a paid plan.
Its clearest distinction is the combination of recurring alerts with several ways to view and sort tasks. Calendar views offer a schedule-oriented perspective, while notes and quick memos keep brief context alongside a task. Widgets put reminders on the home screen. These features suit someone looking for a compact task organizer; users who need a broader collaboration or project-management toolkit may prefer a product built for that work.
Cross-platform access is the main paid-tier consideration. Premium adds the web app, automatic cloud backup and device-to-device sync, and supports use across Android, iOS and the web. The free plan includes the core list, reminder, widget, filter and theme features, but it does not include those Premium sync and backup features. Choose Reminders if local task organization and recurring alerts are the priority; consider an alternative if web access, synced devices or cloud backup must be available without a paid upgrade.
