Our verdict on Raedia

Raedia is a Windows media server for live visual performance, projection mapping and LED-wall control. It is aimed at VJs, live-event teams, corporate AV operators, houses of worship and installation artists. The workflow combines video, images, live camera feeds and generated visuals in real time, then maps compositions onto physical surfaces. Its toolset covers layer and clip compositing, keystone correction, mesh warping, masks, soft-edge blending and LED-wall mapping over standard display output.

Control and ecosystem fit are major strengths. Raedia accepts MIDI, OSC, DMX, Art-Net, sACN, NDI and Spout, with additional support for Ableton Link, SMPTE/MTC, ISF and FFGL 2.0. Browser and phone remote controls provide another operating option, while the REST/HTTP API supports integration with external systems. GPU effects and per-layer effect stacking add depth for live visual workflows, and live camera or capture-card input supports shows that mix prepared media with real-time sources.

The published plans include a seven-day Trial with core features, one seat and an evaluation key. Paid access is offered through Single and Pro tiers, each available monthly or yearly. Single is the starter or core licence for one seat; Pro adds an expanded seat entitlement and a Pro feature set. The subscription amounts are presented at checkout. Raedia suits Windows operators who need flexible show control across projection, LED and live-input workflows. Teams requiring a finished, non-beta product or support for another operating system should consider an alternative.
