Our verdict on Puppr
Puppr is a mobile dog-training app from Chin and Cheeks LLC for new and experienced dog owners. Its step-by-step video lessons span puppy basics, obedience, and tricks, with a weekly puppy guide, masterclasses, and live chat with trainers among its other offerings. Owners can track progress, use a built-in clicker, set potty and training reminders, and support multiple dogs. The app is available on iOS and Android, though some content differs by platform.
The free plan and a 7-day trial give prospective users a way to explore before committing. The published paid options are all called Puppr Premium: one highlights premium lesson packs, another all lessons and lesson packs, and another all lessons and masterclasses; each includes live trainer chat. According to the vendor's listed prices, the monthly subscription is $13.99 on the US App Store and $12.99 on Google Play. Google Play says annual Premium includes a 7-day trial. Subscription purchases are final, and the vendor's terms say it does not provide refunds, so buyers should review the applicable store terms before subscribing.
Platform fit is an important distinction: Puppr says the weekly puppy guide and masterclasses are currently available on iOS but not Android. That makes the iOS app the better fit for owners who specifically want those resources, while the core lesson, tracking, reminder, and trainer-chat features suit owners looking for structured mobile training. Puppr is less suited to buyers who require the full content library across both platforms or want refundable subscriptions. Its combination of instructional videos and access to trainer chat is the strongest reason to consider Premium; owners content with basic instruction can start with the free plan.
