Our verdict on Pinata
Pinata is a managed IPFS storage and content delivery service for developers building NFT marketplaces, DeFi applications, indexers, and other applications that use decentralized content. It supports file uploads and pinning, IPFS gateway retrieval, content identifiers, private IPFS storage, and file organization through groups and workspaces. The service is available through the web and API, with collaboration features aimed at teams working with IPFS assets.
Pricing is organized into monthly Free, Picnic, Fiesta, and Enterprise plans. Free includes 1GB of storage, 1 gateway, 10GB of bandwidth per month, and 10K requests per month. Picnic costs $20 per month and includes 1TB of storage, 1 gateway with CDN, and 1 agent. Fiesta costs $100 per month and expands the allowance to 5TB of storage, 3 gateways with CDN, and 3 agents. Enterprise provides tailored solutions, dedicated account management, enterprise-grade infrastructure, and priority 1:1 support.
