Our verdict on PBXware

PBXware is a software PBX and unified communications platform from Bicom Systems for businesses, service providers, contact centers, governments, and communications partners. It combines business telephony with IVR, custom call routing, voicemail transcription, call recording, conferencing, video calls, chat, screen sharing, business SMS, and desktop, web, and mobile applications. Multi-tenant management makes it particularly relevant for organizations operating several tenants or communications environments.

The published plans show three tiers. Core includes enterprise PBX, IVR and call flows, UC applications, meetings, chat, business SMS, built-in AI, and multi-tenant management. CX Lite adds near real-time wallboards, a performance dashboard, scheduled reporting, and Smart Callback. CX Pro adds skills-based queues and routing, agent and supervisor workspaces, dialer and campaign management, and omnichannel communications. Pricing follows a contact-sales model rather than published plan rates, so buyers need a direct commercial discussion to compare the tiers.

PBXware also stands out for its ecosystem and deployment range. It supports web, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, API, and self-hosted environments, with hosted and on-premise deployment options.
