Our verdict on Parkalot
Parkalot is cloud-based software for workplace parking and other shared office resources. Employees can reserve parking spaces through a web app or native iOS and Android apps, while office and facility managers configure rules, priorities, allocations and waitlists. Visitor reservations and visibility into current availability make it relevant to businesses, campuses and other organisations coordinating shared parking rather than commercial parking operators.
Booking controls are a central part of the product: administrators can set reservation limits and priorities, pre-assign spaces with confirmation deadlines, and release unconfirmed reservations automatically. Automated waitlists handle newly available spaces, while reporting shows availability and parking use. For access and ecosystem fit, Parkalot connects with Outlook Calendar, Google Calendar, Slack, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta; its Open API supports third-party software and hardware integrations, including ANPR cameras and badge or card readers. ANPR implementation depends on the hardware.
