Oracle Data Safe is a cloud service for assessing, monitoring, and protecting Oracle databases across Oracle Cloud, third-party clouds, and on-premises environments. It is designed for database administrators and security teams managing database fleets, audit requirements, and compliance programs. Its scope covers database security assessments, user-risk analysis, sensitive-data discovery, data masking, centralized auditing, security-policy management, and SQL Firewall administration. Web and API access support different operating models, while private endpoints and on-premises connectors support database connectivity.
Pricing is organized around deployment location, target counts, and audit-record volume. The Database Cloud Service plan includes 1 million audit records per target database per month at no charge; a separate plan applies to collection above that allowance. For on-premises databases and databases on Compute, plans are divided into the first 100 targets, targets 101–300, targets 301–500, and over 500 targets, with each target plan including 1 million audit records per target per month. A separate on-premises plan applies to collection above that level. The published offer also includes a 30-day free trial, giving teams a defined way to evaluate the service before adopting paid usage.
