Our verdict on Onfinity Enterprise Asset Management
Onfinity Enterprise Asset Management is an EAM module within the Onfinity ERP suite. It is designed for organizations managing physical assets across locations, custodians, maintenance events, usage, costs, depreciation, leasing and disposal. Its scope fits industrial, manufacturing, public-sector and other asset-intensive operations, with support for small, midsize and large organizations. The system is available through web, API and self-hosted deployments, and includes mobile workflows for asset transactions and maintenance activities.
The edition structure makes pricing and deployment a central consideration. Pluto provides a free Community Edition with the Asset Management module in a self-hosted, open-source edition. Nova is a commercial edition for medium to large companies with advanced enterprise features and cloud or on-premise hosting. Galaxy targets large enterprises and government, adds advanced enterprise features and uses Oracle Database Enterprise Edition. The commercial editions are positioned through contact-sales pricing, while the free Pluto edition gives teams a way to adopt the core asset-management module without a stated license charge.
Functionally, Onfinity covers both operational maintenance and financial control. Teams can track preventive-maintenance alerts, servicing events, breakdowns, parts, resource hours and maintenance costs, while also managing depreciation and amortization schedules, project and expense capitalization, leased-asset accounting aligned with IFRS 16, disposal and audit trails. Finance, inventory and manufacturing integrations extend the ERP fit, with Crystal Reports, Yellowfin BI and web services also listed. Capital budgeting and lifecycle cost planning add a planning layer beyond day-to-day maintenance. Choose Onfinity when open-source deployment, lifecycle costing and ERP-connected asset workflows matter; consider an alternative if verified IoT connectivity is essential or if a published commercial price is a priority.
