Its core purpose is to turn relationship activity into usable business-development intelligence: it captures metadata from email and calendar interactions, organizes company and contact records, maps firmwide connections, and tracks opportunities, pipelines and referrals. Stay-in-touch reminders, activity history, intake forms, an Outlook add-in and mobile apps for iOS and Android extend that focus across day-to-day relationship management. Nexl is best suited to firms that prioritize relationship intelligence over broad legal operations functionality.

Relationship mapping is the standout capability. Nexl supports firmwide analysis of who knows whom, while referral-source performance analysis helps teams understand how work enters the firm and which relationships support growth. The product also connects forms to Nexl contact lists and includes AI-enabled features within Nexl’s broader growth platform, which combines relationship intelligence, marketing, workspaces and AI-enabled insights.
