The Professional edition includes unlimited work orders and preventive-maintenance scheduling, plus unlimited maintenance requesters. Its scope suits teams that need maintenance operations and asset information in one system; organizations looking for a lightweight request tracker may find that breadth unnecessary.
For manufacturing operations, maintenance can be scheduled by time, calendar, or meter readings, while asset records hold maintenance history, documents, meters, criticality, downtime, and cost metrics. Work orders support assignment, prioritization, checklists, attachments, and time and cost tracking. The Advanced edition adds inventory records with cost, failure analysis, downtime tracking, and asset meters. MPACT also offers an offline technician mobile app as an add-on; work can synchronize after a connection returns.
