Our verdict on Mister Cooper

Mister Cooper is a mobile dog-training app for puppy and adult-dog owners who want guided lessons for home or outdoor practice. Its eight plans cover basic obedience, puppy education, tricks, leash walking, recall, attention and focus, as well as behavior challenges such as fears, anxiety, reactivity and separation-related issues. Daily sessions adapt exercises and difficulty to a dog's needs and progress, while instructional videos demonstrate steps with real dogs. That mix suits owners looking for structured practice across common training goals, rather than direct access to a trainer.

The course breadth is a notable strength: the app brings everyday skills and behavior-modification topics into one set of plans. Leash walking and recall sit alongside puppy education and more challenging topics, and help videos address difficult exercises. Short sessions are designed for practice at home or outdoors. The app's guidance is not a substitute for individual professional assessment, however; the vendor recommends consulting an in-person professional for severe aggression cases. Owners facing that issue should seek professional support rather than rely on app lessons alone.

Mister Cooper is available on iOS and Android, with monthly and annual Training subscriptions as well as a listed free plan. Those options provide a way to access training by subscription, but the published plan information does not establish what differentiates the two paid terms beyond billing period, so buyers should check the app's current offer before choosing. There is no trainer access listed, making this a better fit for owners comfortable following video lessons and working through adapted sessions independently. Pick it for structured, video-led practice across obedience and behavior topics; look elsewhere if live trainer guidance is central to your needs.
