For UK gig workers, delivery drivers, self-employed people and employees driving their own vehicles for work, MileClear combines mileage tracking with tools for keeping tax records. It can detect and record GPS trips in the background, then lets users classify journeys as business or personal. Mileage deductions are calculated using HMRC rates based on trip date and vehicle type. Shift grouping, platform tagging and earnings tracking also make it relevant to people working across delivery and driver platforms, rather than only to sole traders recording occasional business journeys.
The product spans iOS, Android and a web dashboard, with cloud and mobile deployment. Its tax workflow includes a Self Assessment wizard mapped to HMRC SA103 form boxes, plus PDF and CSV mileage and tax exports.
