Metis Room Planner is browser-based event diagramming software for event and wedding planners, suppliers, venues, hotels, conference centres and hospitality teams. It combines drag-and-drop floor-plan design with pre-built banquet, theatre, classroom, U-shape, boardroom and cabaret layouts. Teams can place furniture, import guest lists, generate seating arrangements, view rooms in 2D and 3D, and prepare operations handover packs. It is aimed at organisations where room accuracy, seating coordination and client review are central to event delivery.
The strongest case for Metis Room Planner is its depth around operational planning. Auto-layout and layout optimisation are paired with chair-overlap, walkway and obstacle fit checking, while imported floor-plan backgrounds can be scale-calibrated. Guest-list import and automatic seating support seating charts and table plans, and the 3D walk-through and fly-through viewer gives stakeholders another way to review a layout. Client review links with comments, SVG, JSON and print exports, plus equipment and resource reports on Pro User, extend the workflow beyond diagram creation.
