Magnetic review
A practical CRM and operations hub for agencies managing work from lead to profitability.

Magnetic is a professional services CRM and operations platform for agencies, consultancies and other project-based firms. It links lead and opportunity management with proposals, quotes, project delivery, resource planning, timesheets, billing and profitability reporting. Teams can capture leads from website forms, synchronize email with contacts and opportunities, forecast revenue, and convert won opportunities into projects. The fit is strongest for firms that want commercial and delivery workflows in one system rather than a CRM focused only on sales activity.
Its plan structure covers different operating stages. Solo is free forever for one user and includes timesheets, project management, a project dashboard, task management with Kanban, and 100MB of storage. Essentials costs £10 per user per month on monthly billing or £9 on annual billing, adding CRM and pipeline management, pipeline forecasting, Gantt charts, resource management and leave management. Pro costs £22 monthly or £17 annually per user and adds client billing and purchases, cost estimates, over-servicing, profitability and revenue forecasting dashboards. Enterprise adds five automated workflows, a custom login and domain, and corporate identity. A 14-day Pro-feature trial is available without a credit card.
Magnetic is web-only, but its integration set supports common agency workflows across finance, email, calendars, lead capture, campaigns, proofing, time tracking and automation. Connections include QuickBooks, Pastel, Sage, Xero, Google Calendar, Outlook, Campaign Monitor, Ziflow, Timeboost and Zapier. Workflow automation includes triggers, logic, notifications and follow-ups, while project tracking spans tasks, Kanban and Gantt charts. Choose Magnetic if your agency needs pipeline visibility tied to capacity, delivery and margins. Smaller teams can start with Solo, while firms needing multiple users and forecasting should assess Essentials or Pro. It is less suited to teams requiring a non-web deployment or a single-user plan with more storage.
