Our verdict on Live365
Live365 is an internet radio hosting and broadcasting platform for independent broadcasters, talk stations, sports networks and commercial station operators. It combines station management with cloud track storage, playlist and ClockWheel scheduling, live broadcasting, listener analytics, licensing options, monetization and distribution. Broadcasters can manage tracks, events, streaming modes, station profiles, users and analytics through its dashboard, with access across web, iOS and Android.
Pricing starts at $21 per month for Non-Copyright 1 With Ads, or $210 per year. This plan includes 25,000 TLH, 50 GB of storage and 4 minutes of network ads per hour. Non-Copyright 1 Ad Control costs $43 per month or $430 per year and adds an Ad Control toggle. Non-Copyright 2 raises the allowance to 50,000 TLH and storage to 75 GB: With Ads costs $43 monthly or $430 annually, while Ad Control costs $65 monthly or $650 annually. These Non-Copyright packages are intended for broadcasters managing their own music licenses. Broadcast packages are presented separately with licensing included. Live365 offers a 7-day trial and no free plan.
The platform’s strongest fit is for stations that need more than a basic audio stream. AutoDJ, LiveDJ and relay modes support different broadcasting workflows, while playlist, ClockWheel and event scheduling support recurring programming. Real-time and historical analytics, including CSV export, give operators reporting options. TuneIn and iHeartRadio distribution, Alexa integration and mobile broadcasting extend how stations can reach listeners. The main trade-off is that the entry plan includes network advertising, and stations wanting ad control pay more. Broadcasters seeking licensing and distribution support should consider Live365; those wanting a free host or a simpler audio-only service may prefer a narrower alternative.
